2024 Vermont Maple Syrup
Vermont Maple Syrup
Our Vermont Maple Syrup is made on our small family farm using traditional methods passed down through generations of Vermonters. This pure, all-natural syrup is produced in limited quantities to ensure the highest quality and flavor.
Our syrup is made from the sap of sugar maple trees harvested each spring by collecting sap in buckets hung on maple trees. The sap is boiled down in small batches over a wood fire to create a rich, golden syrup with a smooth texture and a deep, complex flavor. Forty gallons of sap goes into each gallon of pure maple syrup. We produce simply pure, natural Vermont maple syrup for your table.
We pride ourselves in the fact that our syrup is made with a strong commitment to eco-friendliness and sustainability. Great care is taken to minimize our impact on the environment at every step of the process, from tap to table. Using a small number of taps per tree and without the use of vacuum extraction, we allow the sap to come naturally. Dead wood from our forests provides fuel for our evaporator as well, rather than fossil fuels. This not only reduces our carbon footprint, but gives our syrup a unique, smoky flavor that you won’t find in mass-produced syrups.
Whether you’re drizzling it over pancakes, waffles, or French toast, or using it to sweeten your coffee or tea, our Vermont Maple Syrup is the perfect way to add a touch of sweetness to your day. Order now and taste the difference that small-batch, family-farmed syrup can make. Give it a try! You will wonder why it took you so long to discover 100% natural maple syrup!
(Your syrup will come in sealed recyclable plastic jugs. )

Gotland Wool Handwoven Blanket
Gotland Wool Handwoven Blanket
A product of the Northern New England Fiber Shed
Our Blanket’s Story
Each blanket begins with a shepherd and her Gotland sheep, grazing on the mountainside pastures at Grand View Farm in Vermont. She tends to them throughout the year, caring for their lambs and tending to their pastures. In the spring, they are sheared, and the shepherd carefully skirts the fiber, and ships it to a small family mill. The mill spins the wool according to her specifications for weaving. Each blanket is hand woven in Vermont on a floor loom, with special attention to every detail. Every inch of the blankets contain a piece of Grand View Farm, and the lives of those who care for the sheep.
The Weaver
This elegant handwoven blanket is crafted by a local textile artist named Sydney Miller. We collaborated with Sydney to design the perfect farm to home Vermont heirloom blanket. Sydney selects weave patterns that showcase the lovely gray shades of our Gotland yarn, raised right here on our farm.
Caring for Your Blanket
We suggest airing your blanket outside on a sunny day at least once a year. If soiled, wash and rinse with cold water, using a mild soap. Do not agitate while washing, but rather let it soak in the water. Line dry.
Specifications
Characteristic of Gotland wool, these handwoven blankets have a weightiness, characteristic of Gotland wool. The wool has a lovely halo which traps the warmth to ward off the chill. A tad bit of silk was added to the yarn to accentuate the lovely drape and silkiness common to Gotland fiber. The blankets are finished with a rolled hemmed edge or a tassel fringe. Perfect for cuddling under for a nap on cool days. The blankets measure approximately 60 inches in length and 42 inches in width.
Wrap yourself in the warmth of our Gotland wool!
