We are thrilled to be a part of the Swedish Gotland Embryo Import Team, ushering in Vermont’s first 100% Swedish Gotland sheep.
Since visiting Gotland, Sweden, we recognize the importance of obtaining pure Swedish genetics in order to bring our breeding benchmarks up to those highly esteemed breeding standards in Sweden of:
– lustrous gray curls,
– black faces and legs,
– and even curl and color.
This opportunity, to import 100% Swedish Gotland embryos allows us to build our flock on the highest quality genetics available in the United States. Along with meeting Swedish standards, our goal is to raise healthy animals. We conduct a biosecurity blood test on all of our sheep once they reach 9 months of age to ensure flock health. Using holistic, low impact farm management practices we maintain a sustainable farm and healthy livestock. We couldn’t be more excited to bring you the best of the best in Gotland sheep!

Purchasing Sheep From Us
Here’s how to get on our lamb waiting list!
1. Sign up for our Lamb Waiting List so that you stay informed of which sheep are available to purchase and when.
2. Tell us what you are hoping to purchase and your goals and dreams for your flock when you submit your email address.
3. We will email you in the spring after lambs are born. At that time, we will have a better idea of our sales list. When you receive our email in the spring, respond immediately as lambs and ewes are sold first come, first serve.
People wanting starter flocks get priority so that we can ensure that we can provide different blood lines.
Our Promise
With each sheep purchase you will receive:
1. sheep chosen to meet your specific needs.
2. mentoring, answering your questions about sheep care
3. registration papers so you can easily transfer ownership
4. health records
5. with the purchase of 2 or more sheep-paid first year membership into GSBANA
6. one night stay FREE in one of our Farmhouse Suite bedrooms if you live more that 3 hours away.
7. To reduce stress on you and your new sheep, we provide support through the transition from our farm to yours.
(Customers from out of state will have to pay for a health certificate for each sheep purchased and castration if purchasing a wether.)
